THE INDIA TRIP FT. BROTHER-IN-LAW'S WEDDING
Soulmate + Family + New Faces + Wedding
Before this trip, I hadn't visited India for almost 15 years.
My brother-in-law was set to get married in India the fall after Veer & I got engaged.
It all came together so quickly and before I knew it, my mom, Veer & his family were on our way.
10 days. Countless memories. Meeting family. New experiences. Celebrating love. In a divine place - Tirupati.
Haldi/Mehndi: Veer & I wore ensembles of yellow and pink.
The night before the ceremony, which was coincidentally Veer & my mother-in-laws birthdays, I wore a pastel blue organza saree.
Ceremony: I was supposed to wear a navy blue traditional raw silk half-saree, but realized I forgot to bring matching jewelry.
Literally the morning of the ceremony, I decided to wear an off-white crop top & lehenga set I got online for $20.
My jewelry / accessories worked seamlessly.
Reception: I wore a lehenga my mother-in-law got me (skyped her while she was at the store)
