I was born and raised in the US, but constantly in touch with and celebrating my South-Asian roots - with fashion being a major outlet for expression.
After working as a fashion/style writer and illustrator, I started Sithara as a way for me to manifest my own designs and visions while combining various elements from my life as a South-Asian American woman.
Since then, it has become an outlet for collaboration, empowerment, and encouragement.
